Established since 1993 in Solo – Central Java, Indonesia, seeing the potential of the furniture craftsmen in the area, the company founders saw the opportunity to develop -partnerships- with the craftsmen to expand their market coverage from local to global. By so doing, they not only improved the socio-economic conditions of the craftsmen, but also developed a successful business.

This -partnership- production model became the foundation for WISANKA, and has remained to this day. Continuous improvements in control systems in terms of RD&D, Quality Assurance and Fair Trade have also been key to the company’s business success as well as to that of our partners.
